Setting realistic goals is a very important part of any weight loss plan, especially a fast weight loss plan. The amount of weight you need to lose will probably different the amount you should lose. The best place to define your weight loss goals is with your medical doctor. Your doctor can tell you what your ideal healthy weight should be.
BMI or Body Mass Index is a good indicator of where you your weight should be ideally.
