 6-Week Diet and Fitness Regime

Too Busy to Lose Weight? 1 Free Week of Medifast.

Weight Loss Advisory Editor

There are many programs available today that offer 6-weeks of intensive diet and fitness training to transform your body into whatever it is you desire.  Some of these programs can be quite costly, ranging from $500 to over $3000.  They involve personal trainers, dieticians and even medical professionals to help you along the way.

At Weight Loss Advisory, our focus is on programs and information so that you can lose weight for free!  So, in an effort to validate the 6-week diet and fitness programs, I have decided, as the Weight Loss Advisory Editor, to join a 6-week program myself to see if I can transform my body and self in that time period.

I will be following the free program offered online at www.allure.com  They offer beauty, diet and fitness advice and have a daily log where you record what you have eaten and the exercise you have done.

I have started the 6-week program on Monday, July 3, 2006.  Stay tuned for daily postings on what I have eaten and the exercise I have done (or not done!!).

If you are in for a challenge, why not sign up for yourself and try the program along with me!  After all it is free!

I reluctantly stepped on the scales and did some measuring, so that I can compare results along the way.  I am not a fan of the scale.  I can't even remember the last time I weighed myself.  It totally makes me focus on numbers, which in the end are not really that important.

For example, if you are lifting weights and training like crazy, it is highly probable that you will weigh more when you step on the scales since muscle weighs more than regular fat.

Anyways, I did the dreaded deed and here are my stats:

Weight: 136   Basic measurements:  Waist: 30"      Hips  39"     Chest:  36-1/2"

Looking at those numbers, I could probably stand to lose a few inches off my waist and hips to balance out my body proportions.
